Exercise- What Do You Even Mean By That
I work out in Gym, four to five times a week, during weekdays, and then I participate in some or other form of Sports activity during the weekends. That is my quota for exercising for a week. My friend is very active with her Aerobics and Power Yoga. She does it 5 times a week and then prefers to rest for the remaining two days. Then one of my seniors at work, he is a Yoga follower and gives credit to Yoga for his young looks and active body, even at the age of 48.
The fitness level is something about feeling. How do u feel when u wake up, during the day, and then when you sign it off for the day and go for sleep. Fitness doesn’t mean you should be able to run a marathon or you should able to lift heavy in the gym, in fact, it definitely means how your body reacts to when you feel lethargic at home or in your leisure time, or when you are all charged up in your work, or if you are in a mood to party or if you are at home, with your partner, enjoying the intimacy. Diet is Essential
Fitness is, the right proportion of your body weight and height, it means your BMI should be in place, it means your heartbeat should be in controlled parameters, and definitely means you have cholesterol in check and there are many. And a common factor among all these levels is Exercise!!!
Exercise helps:
- To reduce weight.
- Improves health conditions by keeping your HDL in check. HDL is High-Density Lipo-protein, also called good cholesterol. A higher quantity of it reduces the risk of heart diseases whereas a lower level increases the risk.
- Hitting a gym or attending 30-60 minutes of the session of any form of exercise gives a feel-good factor. And that helps in building confidence and improves self-esteem.
- Helps to have a better and sound sleep.
- Assist in improving your sexual life.
These Exercises can be: Light ( A normal Exercise, like a simple walk, where you can talk without too much hassle): Moderate ( Cycling, Hill Climbing, where it gets a bit difficult to breathe during the session): Intensive (breathing becomes really difficult and reaches to the highest limit of an exerciser)Best Sellers
An exercise is a form of physical activity, which engages the body and helps to improve your fitness and overall health.
Forms of Exercises:
- Aerobic Exercises: Aerobic means “with Oxygen”. All aerobic exercises are carried out in the presence of Oxygen. The session of such exercises lasts only for an initial 20 minutes, continuously, without halting in between. Running for 20 minutes is a form of Aerobic exercise. Benefits of Aerobic: a) It Strengthen those muscle that supports breathing. b) It supports reducing the risk of heart and cardiovascular problems. c) Improves Blood Circulation and helps in controlling BP. d) Red Blood Cells are the transporters of Oxygen and Aerobic exercise helps in increasing the number of RBC.
- Anaerobic Exercises: Anaerobic means “without air” and it definitely doesn’t mean that whosoever carries out this exercise, don’t breathe. They do. This form of exercise is for a shorter period on time, let’s say, not more than 2 minutes. Benefits of Anaerobic: a) The main goal of Anaerobic is to build strength, muscle, and power. b) Strengthen the joints.
To differentiate between these two; Aerobic exercises are better than Anaerobic, in burning more calories and have better cardiovascular advantages, whereas Anaerobic, with proper, inhale, and exhale process, that supports the heart and lungs, are better in building more strength and muscle mass. But a point to be remembered here is, when you build muscle, you burn more fat, that is why, whosoever wants to reduce weight and fat of the body, needs to follow a good mix of both Aerobic and Anaerobic exercises.
If we can call any type of exercise different at all, from these, that can only be Yoga, which helps in stretching, flexibility, balancing, muscle strengthening, meditation, etc. In Modern days, we have different forms of Yoga that are practiced around the world.
